Gratitude: A Note From One Of Our Author’s

A Writer’s Journey.

I’ve been writing since I was a little girl. The first story I remember was in the third grade. Part of our class assignment was to come up with a story idea and write at least five hundred words.

After some trepidation, I came up with an idea of two mice trapped in the kitchen sink plumbing with the premise of how were they going to get out? And the second part of this assignment was to use clay and create our characters and display them when we presented our story in front of the entire class.

After all of the stories were read, the class voted on the best story and art.

I was hooked.

And to make this post short, I received an A and won the class competition.
